The University of Arkansas Bookstore is proud to be participating in a program to help recycle used inkjet and toner cartridges, dead rechargeable batteries and old cellular phones. Normally these items would get thrown in the trash and the dangerous chemicals inside these items would leach into the environment. By recycling these items, you not only keep dangerous chemicals out of the environment, but you also help make these products cheaper through re-use.
